What to Expect for the Delivery

In most cases, sheds are delivered fully constructed. Therefore, to get it from the street to your pad site, we will need to go over your grass unless it is going at the end of your driveway. In the summer months when the ground is dry, you can expect the grass to be pushed down. After 2 mows, you’d never know we were there! When you order in the Spring, Fall, and Winter, it gets a little trickier! In those cooler/colder months when it rains, it takes longer for the ground to dry out as its not as warm and the sun is not as strong! In those months there are typically more delays. During those months you can again, expect the grass to be pushed down, but also see impressions in the ground from the tire tread which will bounce back quickly as well. A sure sign to know whether its suitable for delivery or not is the “heel” test. Simply walk the path from the point of access to the pad site on your heels pushing down with all your weight, if your heels sink in then imagine what 1,000lbs will do! Snow is the only weather that shuts down our delivery process unless the pad is at the end of the driveway and you want to shovel it off!

Access For Delivery of Structures

We have 2 methods of delivering our buildings: Truck and Trailer or Mule shed mover.

In most cases we use the Mule for our shed deliveries, it enables us to get into tighter spots and is low impact on yards. However, it has its limitations! While the Mule has revolutionized the way we get sheds into peoples backyards it is NOT fullproof! Steep slopes and real rugged terrain are where things can get ugly quick! Therefore, in those cases we’ll use a truck and trailer for delivery.

Height requires a 14′ Clearance
Width Clearance is 1′ more than overall building width.
Trim trees and encroaching shrubs to eliminate damage to structure (shingles, drip edge, paint; etc…)

From the time you order to the time we build and deliver your shed is typically 5 weeks, however, if during that build time we experience inclement weather (a good soaking rain) you should expect delays. As for your yard, we have the least impactful equipment for our foundation work and shed deliveries but when the ground is really wet we have to wait for things to dry out!

IF SITE IS INACCESSIBLE FOR THE TRUCK, OR WE MUST RETURN WITH OUR SHIPMENT, ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL APPLY.
